Independent insurance producer · Danville, CA

Twenty-three years placing insurance, ten years building the tech behind it. Now independent.

I don't care which carrier wins your business. That's the point. I'm a broker, not an agent: no carrier owns my loyalty, and I shop the whole market for you, direct carriers and the major wholesale desks alike. Every placement has to pass the same test. The coverage fits your actual risk exposure, the pricing is competitive, and the program is built around your preferences. Lean and contract-compliant, comprehensive and airtight, or self-insuring the risks you'd rather carry: your call, my job.

Twenty-three years of placements taught me where the red flags hide. You'll know how your program will actually perform in a loss, and if one comes, I'm there to advocate for you. Ten years building Embroker made me an insurance technology optimist. I build tools like Coverage Intelligence to ensure you get my expertise and the expertise of rapidly improving AI.

Why work with me

Experience, sharpened by technology.

Over two decades placing insurance: commercial, personal lines, life, and health, through every kind of market this industry runs. Soft markets, hard markets, regulatory shocks, and the wildfire seasons that rewrote California homeowners coverage overnight. A lot of it was complex or hard to place. The pattern recognition that builds over twenty-three years is the part you can't shortcut.

The last ten of those years I spent on the founding team at Embroker, the first true commercial insurtech, which raised over $150M and grew to more than 125 employees across the country and overseas. I took over direct sales and helped design and create what we called the "brain of a broker," the technology that turned a manual, fragmented placement process into something faster and sharper. That's where I learned what insurance looks like when it's built around modern tooling instead of fax machines and spreadsheets.

Here's what I believe, and it's why I built my practice this way. I've always been a good broker. With modern AI tools, I'm one of the best. The same technology lets me give clients far more than a solo shop usually can: deeper coverage insights, real policy audits instead of surface checks, more accurate placements, and genuine cost savings. The twenty-three years tell me what to look for. The tools let me find it faster and more completely.

That conviction has a name: Coverage Intelligence, the policy-analysis engine I built and use on every commercial review.

Today I work independently in partnership with Panta, a Y-Combinator-backed insurtech. You get a producer that reads the policy, has the carrier relationships, and tells it straight. I'm focused on working with great people and companies, and on making sure they get the best coverage, service, and experience possible, for life.
